The Happy Wrap is a stretchy wrap made from viscose bamboo. The wrap is lightweight, breathable and wicks moisture away from the body. The fabric is soft like cashmere and has the perfect amount of stretch, keeping your baby snug, safe and comfortable.

Babywearing FAQ
How soon can I start wearing my baby?

Right away! No baby is too small to wear in a Happy Wrap. All of our recommended holds are safe and appropriate for even the tiniest of infants. Even premature babies may be worn in the Happy Wrap.

Will I spoil my baby if I wear him/her too much?

No. Studies have shown that carried babies quickly develop a sense of trust and security and they often become independent at an earlier age. You can learn more about the benefits of babywearing here.

Can I breastfeed in this wrap?

Yes. You can easily and discreetly nurse while wearing your baby in a Happy Wrap. For more information on breastfeeding, please click here. Remember to always keep a close watch on your baby while breastfeeding and move your baby’s face away from your breast when he/she is no longer actively nursing.

Am I allowed to face my baby forward in a Happy Wrap?

No! Never place your baby in a forward position in a Happy Wrap or any other baby carrier. This position places undue pressure on a baby’s developing spine and hips as well as your baby’s most sensitive area. It also fails to provide good head and neck support.

Is the Happy Wrap suitable for hip and back carrying?

No. Never use the Happy Wrap for a back carry. There is no safe way to use a stretchy wrap for a back carry.

My baby seems to be sinking down when I am walking. Do I need to tie it tighter?

Remember that the Happy Wrap is a stretchy wrap and should be tied tightly – no part of the wrap should be loose or hanging from your body. It is not necessary to leave room for the baby. The wrap should fit snug, but not be so tight that it is uncomfortable for you or your baby. If you are carrying a heavier baby, try tying the wrap so that the “x” is higher on your sternum. The higher the “x” the higher your baby will be carried. Spread the fabric across baby’s bottom to the hollow of his/her knees. The wide base helps keep the baby in place.

Though the wrap can securely hold up to 25 lbs, it is ideal for the first year of your baby’s life with the most use happening in the first 6 months. You may continue to wear the wrap as long as both you and your baby are comfortable.
